Technology Overview

Skymol Communicator live video and text chat software uses a sophisticated, browser-based live help customer service system, which provides our customers to be immediately achieved in voice, video and text chat on their own website by their customers and website visitors.

Key technologies that Skymol Communicator uses:

  • Voice-Video Over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
  • Video Interactive Voice Response (VIVR)
  • Web-based Automatic Call Distribution (WACD)

ACD and IVR are telephone data transfer and networking technologies. Skymol applies these to Internet-based networking and a web graphical interface instead of a telephone, recombining them with video (hence VIVR).
VoIP is voice data transfer technology over the Internet allowing the telephone to use the Internet. Skymol reclaims it for the browser-based network above, adding voice to the web. The total result is a video phonic communication tool that runs right off any website.

  How Skymol Communicator works:

1.      A visitor loads a web page, which contains a live chat button, and clicks on it opens an interface placing the visitor in a wait queue;

2.       An agent accepts the chat request;

3.      The visitor is able to talk (voice/video chat) to (or text chat) the agent while hearing and seeing the agent answer back in real time.

Our application servers ensure the environment enabling this kind of communication.
