Step 1: Sign Up



If you don't have a Skymol Communicator account yet, please go to our sign up page and provide us with some information required. (NO credit card. NO obligation to purchase.)

Your full featured Business Edition account information will be emailed to you after one of our account managers verifies whether or not you've provided valid data.

Note: If you provide us with invalid website URLs, or domains such as yahoo.com, google.com, gmail.com, aol.com, etc. that are obviously do not enable you to embed any Skymol live video chat codes in them, we will NOT email you the account information but a notification message of incorrect data instead.



 

Step 2: Log In to Skymol Communicator ADMIN Account


 
After you receive the Skymol Communicator ADMIN account information in e-mail from us, please go to the Customer Login page and log in to your ADMIN account in order to set up Skymol Communicator live video chat software for your website.
 
 

 

Step 3: Set Up Departments



Click on the Departments button in the left menu bar and set up at least one department (e.g.: Billing).
FYI, there is no limitation on how many departments you can set up. You can set up as many as you want.

 

 

 

Step 4: Set Up Agent Accounts



Click on the Agents button in the left menu bar and set up at least one agent (e.g. Operator1). This will be the AGENT account.


Agents must be assigned to departments. The "Languages and 'Welcome' message:*" field must be ticked so that the created departments are displayed.
Don't forget to input text in the "Proactive invitation message:*" field either because this will be displayed in the proactive invitation window when agents send chat requests to visitors.
By clicking on the Save button at the bottom of the page, the agent account gets set up.
 

 

Step 5: Generate Live Video Chat Code For Your Website



Click on the Code Generation > Live Video Chat Code Generation buttons in the left menu bar, and generate and embed the live video chat code in your website, in as many pages as you just want.


1. The first tag of generated live video chat code must be embedded in the head of your web page (directly above the closing head tag </head>).

2. The second tag of generated live video chat code must be embedded in the body tag of your web page where you want the live chat button to be displayed (somewhere between the two body tags: <body> and </body>).
 

 

 

Step 6: Generate Tracking Code



Click on the Code Generation > Tracking Code Generation buttons in the left menu bar, and generate and embed the tracking code in your website.

1. Download the tracking file and upload it to the root directory of your server where your website is hosted on.
2. The first tag of generated tracking code must be embedded in the head of your web page (directly above the closing head tag </head>).
3. The second tag of generated tracking code must be embedded in the body of your web page (directly above the closing body tag </body>).

IMPORTANT: Insert the same code on every page you want to track!

(Note: If you've pasted the tracking code and uploaded the tracking file, online agents can monitor your website in real time and send proactive chat invitations to visitors.)

 

 

 

Step 7: Provide Live Video Chat Service to Visitors



Please follow the next simple steps to in order to see how to provide live video chat support/customer service to your customers and website visitors:

1. Log in as an AGENT on the Customer Login page. (You must use the agent account info - ID and Password you've set up.)
2. Click on the Communication Window button in the left menu bar. (The window is going to pop up.)
3. Open your website in another browser window as a visitor.
4. Click on the live video chat icon on your website. (A window is going to pop up.)
5. Input your name, select department and click on one of the buttons. (Chat, Voice, Voice & Video)
6. Agent Communication Window is going to pop up with the visitor in the list.
7. Click on the visitor in the list in order to accept the chat request.
8. Chat with the visitor.
